Our Information Portal at www.assistancecheck.com is the best way to obtain information regarding your waiting list status for applicants, your current rent ranges for participants and your active tenants for landlords.  Providing this information over the phone no longer done as the information you could be asking for is most likely confidential.  We work to protect your confidentiality and this platform allows you and your information to remain available to you.  Additionally, it allows you to share it with other agencies that you choose.  

As a reminder to all participants:  You are responsible for notifying your counselor of household income and composition changes in writing, within 10 days of the change.  Failure to do so is a violation of your family obligations and you could be removed from the program.  

Our office is open for scheduled appointments only - if you need a scheduled appointment with your counselor please contact our office at 315-343-3452.  

Please continue to use the post office, the brown drop box at the front of our building and e-mail your counselor with any information you need.  Refer to the “Staff” link under the About tab on our web page.

Property Owners: Please notify our office is you are selling your unit with an assisted family and provide the new owner information if available.  

New Property Owners: If you have purchased an assisted unit please contact our office and let us know so we can process your payment efficiently.  You can start by completing the forms on the Property Owners tab drop down for New Property Owners on our web page.

Property Owners – If you have properties in the City of Oswego and would like to be added to our Landlord Referral List please e-mail missieh@oswegony.org and she will assist you.

Our office does not answer the phones on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons or all day Friday. During those times we are conducting meeting with clients.  Please leave one detailed phone message and we will return your call as soon as we become available.
